THE RAILWAY CARRIAGE PROJECT

Within the grounds of Birkin House is a classic piece of history...a railway carriage.

Over the next few months it is going to be transformed into a facility providing four office / craft units and kitchen.

Work has already begun, with the complete site being cleared of seven years of overgrowth and the ground being prepared for the new car park area.

July will see the internal area cleared of all the clutter and the new stud walls put in along with the  back walls.

We’ll include pictures of progress along with the on-going marketing of these original office/craft spaces.

It’s an exciting project and a great start toward providing unique office space.

September 2010 heralds a major new development at Birkin House ~ The Birkin House Business Centre.. The old railway carriage will provide four offices/craft rooms and there will be an additional three offices within the main house...and there will be another two suites and one office providing for FOUR hot desks, later in the year.

The offices are offered on a flexible and inclusive basis, but can offer good incentives for longer leases. Our standard monthly licence includes the following :

• Office Rental
• Building Insurance
• Utilities Charges  
• Heating
• Mail collection & delivery
• 8 am - 8 pm  accessibility (Mon - Sat)

We have a range of other facilities available to our tenants including our meeting & conference facilities and bar.

Our goal is to provide the entrepreneur and small business with a cost-effective (from £150 per month) within a very unique building.
